Il laisse dans le deuil : sa douce moitié Christine Portelance; ses enfants, Sonya et Michael; ses frères, Steven (Monique) et Harvey (Anne); et sa soeur Karen (John). Il laisse également dans le deuil nombreux neveux, nièces et amis.

La maison funéraire fera un don à la banque alimentaire à la mémoire de votre être cher.

“Vance, you were a wonderful friend for some 70 years. We lived around the courner from each other in Ste Foy and spent a lot of time together. We saw each other on a daily basis while at Ste Foy Elementary, Quebec High School and at our homes. RIP my old friend..”

“To a life long friend with whom I met at the age of six in Kindergarten at St Georges Elementary School in Quebec City. We went through our young age to our late teens experimenting with life. Vance was a great athelete and was "The Man" on Quebec High Schools football team. As a lot of young friends we each moved on in life getting married, having children. We were able to reconnect about 30 years down the road at one of the QHS reunions which was held at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto. RIP”
