He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Lacroix and Mary Sauvey; his children, Nicole and Richard; his brothers, Henri (late Clairette), Laurent (late Claire) and Lucien (Madeleine); and also Viola.

He is survived by: his children, Monique (William Kelly), Denis (Monica Wilson) and Alain (Diane Pharand); his grandchildren, André (Melissa), Shana (Chad), Jacky, Kathleen, Kelsey, Sofia, Natasha and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Amélie, Anthony, Taleya and Soren; and his sibling Lilianne Berniqué (late Henry).
