She was predeceased by: her brother Raymond. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Bates; her children, Darren (Winnabel Walters) of Nanaimo, BC and Andrea (Bertrand Ouimet) of East Hawkesbury, ON.; her grandchildren, Daniel, Sarah, Jacob and Anthony; and her siblings, Pierre, Liliane, Monique and Lise. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.
