He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Violet; and his stepson David. He is survived by: his spouse Kim Playter; his daughters, Stephanie Hussey of Scarborough and Amanda Hussey of Peterborough; his stepsons, Andrew Playter (Sapphire) of Saskatchewan and Philip Playter of Toronto; his stepgrandchildren, Thomas, Shawna, Alexis and Melanie; and his siblings, Edith Masters (Wayne) of Nova Scotia, Jeannette Hussey of Edmonton, Georgina Smith (Glen) of Newfoundland, Rudy Hussey (Loretta) of Alberta, Doug Hussey (Wendy) of Havelock and Stephen Hussey of Havelock. He is also survived by 5 step great grandchildren.
