Mary Theresa Atkins Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Theresa Atkins in Hastings, Ontario, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Albert Atkins; her daughter Karen Atkins-Gayle (Thomas); her grandson Nicholas; her siblings, Margaret Boland (Joe), Joan, Gerald, Sidney Snow, Gertrude and Barbara Barrett (Maxwell); and her siblings-in-law, Glenys Rees (Phil), Ray Atkins (Violet), Richard Atkins, Florence Atkins and May Mercer (Graham).

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Atkins Jr. (Cheri), Gary Atkins, Mark Atkins (Dania), Mary Barrett (Richard) and Julie Atkins; her grandchildren, Curtis (Jenna), Krystal, Zack, Jordan, Brittany, Abby, Shelby, Christopher, Mitchell and Daniella; her great grandchildren, Capri and Cali; her siblings, Roy Simpson, Edward Snow (Gloria), Isabelle Snow, Sharon, Kenneth Barber, Teresa Snow (Tilly Gallant), Kevin George and Debbie Noseworthy (Gary); and her sister-in-law Rose Butt (Brad). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
