He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lorraine Fry; his son John Fry; and his sibling Claude. He is survived by: his children, Jane and Bruce (Jennifer); and his siblings, Earl (Barbara), Ralph (late Karen) and Harriett McInroy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
