“I’ve known Ed for many years… he use to be my boss at Mike Mundell’s Surf and Turf…. He gave me the first set of hockey equipment I ever had, took me to my first NHL game (even though it was Montreal), took me golfing for the first time and drilled me in the back with a golf ball…. Then he became a police officer and in many ways I wanted to follow in his footsteps and a few years later became one myself… Ed was a great man and a good friend and he will be missed…. My condolences to the family.”
