He was predeceased by: his parents, Orland Durand and Dorothy Durand; his father-in-law Donald Robson; his brother Kevin Durand (Shelley); and his brothers-in-law, Timothy and Douglas.

He is survived by: his wife Teresa Ann "Terri" (Robson); his daughter Cassandra; his mother-in-law Marjorie; his siblings, Michael Durand (Lynn) and Pauline Durand; and his sister-in-law Debra.
