He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford King and Lena King; his son Stephen Michael King; and his brother David (Mary Ellen). He is survived by: his wife Diane King (Strong); his daughter Jennifer Labonte; his siblings, Janice Passa (Fred), Laurie Gignac (Greg), Patricia Poole (Charles), Beatrice Hengstebeck (Mark) and Rosemary Ashton (Michael); and also Barbara Lavin (Francis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations to Muscular Dystrophy Association would be appreciated by the family.
