He was predeceased by: his son Joseph Illes (Janet Hill); his siblings, Steve, Robert, Miklos and Martha; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Kreiter, Annie Leili, Elizabeth Borbash, Matilda Pretli and Linda Pretli.
He is survived by: his wife Martha (Kreiter); his grandchildren, Julius and Sheila (Michael); his great grandchild Atlas; and his siblings-in-law, Mary and George Hotz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
