He was predeceased by: his wife Dora; and his stepdaughters, Catherine, Nancy and Diane. He is survived by: his son John Sprague (Audree) of Harrow; his stepchildren, Marilyn Walton (Rodney) of Murray Corner, N. B. and Harold Spence (Charlotte) of Saskatoon, Sask.; and his close friends, Henry and Joyce Loeffen. He is also survived by his several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephew.
