She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Arthur Cockerham; and her siblings, Jack Root (Angie), Violet and Darrel Root (late Lynda). She is survived by: her children, Sharon Stafford (John), Vicki Fox, Kathleen and Darren Cockerham (Kerry Eaton); her grandchildren, Charleen Talbot (Andrew), Ryan Cockerham (Melissa), Mark Stafford, Matthew Stafford, Steven Stafford (Kara), Brandon Fox (Amanda) and Derek Fox (Kay-Dee); her great grandchildren, Ashley, Hailey, Chelsea, Caitlyn, Alexis, Aiden, Tucker, Jaidyn, Karder, Sawyer, Lilith, Cassie, Owen, Aubrey, Emberly and Jason; and her siblings, Ronnie Root (Sandy) and Barbara Vazquez (Art). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
