She was predeceased by: her parents, Jaakko Luukkanen and Eila Luukkanen; and her brother-in-law James Smeltzer. She is survived by: her husband Tim; her daughter Sandra; her siblings, Maija Luukkanen, Pentti, Eija and Antti Luukkanen; her mother-in-law Mary Catherine Smeltzer; and her siblings-in-law, Paul Smeltzer (Kathy), Jayne, Thrasher, Lisa Beneteau (Lawrence) and Peter Smeltzer (Debbie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
