It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ray Gilmore of Harriston, Ontario, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Gilmore and Marguerite Gilmore (Hills); his brother Glen Gilmore; his father-in-law Olin Wenzel; and his brothers-in-law, Harvey Machan and Wayne Petrie.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gilmore (Wenzel); his children, Scott, Michele Gilmore of Harriston, Tracey Gilmore, James Grubb of Kitchener, Angela Gilmore and Norm Beauvais of Sudbury; his grandchildren, Shelby Bennett, Steve Walker, Michayla Gilmore, Emmaline Gilmore, Bryce Leask, Avery Beauvais and Nathan Beauvais; his great grandchild Sophia Walker; his siblings, Margaret Anne Gilmore of Listowel, Shirley, Ron Matthews of Atwood and Fay Gilmore of Mitchell; his mother-in-law Margaret Wenzel of Palmerston; and his siblings-in-law, Leroy Wenzel of Palmerston and Marilyn Petrie of Morden, MB.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home (44 John St S, Harriston, ON N0G1Z0). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
