Lloyd Gadke Obituary

Lloyd George Gadke of Harriston, and formerly of Palmerston and Cambridge, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the age of 79 years.

Husband of the late Margaret 'Liz' (Dickert) Gadke.

Father of Brad & Debbie Gadke of Glen Morris, Brenda & Jeff Geisel of West Montrose, and Barb & John Reid of Cambridge.

Grandfather of Tyler Gadke, Matthew Gadke, Meagan Langer, Nicholas Langer, Courtney Reid, and Rebecca Reid.

Brother of Betty-Jean & Keith Quigley of Harriston, Bryan & Carol Gadke of Cambridge, and Bernice & Ron Wilson of Kitchener.

Brother-in-law of Bill & Brandy Jones of Cambridge, Marion & Eric Pattison of Listowel, Bob & Jennifer Dickert of Bluevale, and Bill & Cathy Dickert of Belgrave. Also survived by his dear friend Cathy Linton.

Predeceased by his parents Fred & Bessie Gadke, infant brother Frederick Gadke, and by sisters Joan Weiler & husband Jim, Marjorie Schlesak & husband Andy, and Katherine Jones.

Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Wednesday, September 13 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by interment in Palmerston Cemetery and then a luncheon at Harriston United Church.

Memorial donations to Palmerston & District Hospital or Heart & Stroke would be appreciated.
