She was predeceased by: her spouse Engelbert 'Bert Hones; her son Helmut Hones; and her nephew Gerhard Hones. She is survived by: her children, Angie Smith (Norman) and Heinz Hones (Laurie); her grandchildren, Jesse Hones, Sonya Hones, Maria Smith and Alex Smith; and her nieces and nephews, Michael (Betty), George (Evelyn), Andrew, Christine (Paul), Steven (Sylvie), Peter (Sheryl) and Jacqueline.
