She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mervyn and Susan Mervyn; her son John Lyle Sherk; her siblings, Gordon Mervyn (Lillian) and Edith Schmidt (Fred); and her sisters-in-law, Helen Campbell (Charlie) and Margaret Robinson (Keith).
She is survived by: her husband Murray Sherk; her daughters, Lorraine Helwig (Ken), Carol McDougall (Keith) and Colleen Yenssen (Brad); and her grandchildren, Nancy Ball (John), Lorretta Fisher (Helwig), Michael Helwig (Leslie), Kattie Hallman (Quest), Bonnie McDougall, Brent McDougall (Nicole), John Yenssen (Ashley) and Rashelle Dennison (Jeff). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.
Memorial donations to Victory Fellowship Baptist Church or to the Gideon Bible Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
