He was predeceased by: his parents, William Mather and Rebecca Mather; his wife Lavina; and his sisters, Eleanor Eckhardt, Mary Odell, Isabel Baujard and Jean McIntyre.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Mather (Dianne) of Elmwood, Bob Mather (Bonnie) of Chatham, Lois Culliton (Harold Burnett) of Barrie and Lynn Weimer (Ed) of Waterloo; and his grandchildren, Rhonda (Wayne), Heather (Adam), Jen (Brian) and Greg. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
As per Tom's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hospice of Waterloo Region or to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation are appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
