Shaun Schaefer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shaun Schaefer of Hanover, Ontario, who passed away on January 31, 2022, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Stanley Yandt, Charlie and Rita Schaefer. He is survived by: his parents, Bill Schaefer and Sue Schaefer of Hanover; his wife Catherine Schaefer of Hanover; his daughters, Sophie, Tessa and Leah; his brother Scott Schaefer (Karley) of Hanover; his grandmother Lorraine Yandt of Hanover; his parents-in-law, Doreen and Tom Schultz of Hanover; his siblings-in-law, Anastasia Begon (Dan) of Hanover, Victoria Rogers of Walkerton and Daniel Rogers (Alyssia) of Varney; and his nieces and nephews, Madison, Aubrey, Caleb, Adelia, Jade and Dakota. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and many close friends.
Registration is required to attend the visitation, as space is limited due to COVID restrictions.
Memorial donations to a Trust for his children, Hanover Minor Sports, Hanover and District Hospital Foundation or The Walkerton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
