He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Warren Bender and Verna Bender of Woodstock; his wife Betty Bender of Hanover; his children, Matthew Bender (Mirindy) of Tavistock, Kyle Bender (Jenie) of Switzerland and Melena McGregor (Scott) of Hepworth; his grandchildren, Ethan, Molly, Sophie, Melody, Scotlyn and Ivy; his siblings, Terry Bender (Velma) of Woodstock, Murray Bender of Tavistock, Jeff Bender (Pat) of Wiarton and Karen Smidts (John) of Stratford; and his children, Brian and Rebecca. He was also cherished by his brother and sister in laws.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Chapman House Residential Hospice Grey Bruce would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
