He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Kurt and Myra Kurt; and his parents-in-law, John and Mildred Schnurr. He is survived by: his spouse Gerrie (Schnurr); his children, Teresa and Adam Siefert of Palmerston; and his grandchildren, Aislyn and Lexa. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.

As expressions of sympathy donations to the Ronald McDonald House or Rockwood Terrace Nursing Home Residents Council, Durham would be appreciated by the family.
