He was predeceased by: his siblings, Raymond, Bert and Mary Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Heather Schmidt of Hanover; his children, Marilyn Meyerink (Bruce) of Hanover, Stanley Schmidt (Danielle) of Australia, Lynda Murphy (Len) of Wasaga Beach and Steven Schmidt of Scone; his grandchildren, Stacy Meyerink, Stephanie Meyerink, Lucas Schmidt and Emma Schmidt; and his sister Joy Fidler of Walkerton.
Memorial donations to the Victorian Order of Nurses, Cancer Society or to the charity of ones' choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
