We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2020, at the age of 84, Laverne Porter of Hanover, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Becker and Elizabeth Becker; her daughter Shirley MacIntosh; her son-in-law Allan Becker; her grandsons, Adam Porter and Graig Ferguson; and her siblings, Bill Becker and Isabelle Wilken.
She is survived by: her husband Orville Porter of Hanover; her children, Linda Campbell (Brad) of Oakville, Carolyn Giesler (Mike) of Hanover, Mark Porter (Heather) of Paisley and Donna Eckhardt (Ed) of Port Perry; her grandchildren, Breanne (Gary), Jennifer (Antony), Annette (Jason), Jeff (Kerri), Angela, Sharon, Melissa (Ben), Sara, Davin, Zachary, Nicolas (Janai) and Regan; and her siblings, John Becker (Flora) of Owen Sound, Arnold Becker (Rebecca), Walter Becker (Deborah Ann) and Betty Masunas. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations to the Southern Bruce Grey Hospice Satellite or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
