It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Hopkins (Hanover, Ontario), who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McBride and Ella McBride; her husband Ken; her grandson Joel; and her siblings, Jack, Bill, Dorothy, Mildred and Ella.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Hopkins of Ayr, Graham Hopkins (Janice), Darlene Baetz (Brian) of Hanover, Jay Hopkins of Bradford, Laureen Hopkins (Jake) of Kitchener and Diana Proctor (Mike) of Owen Sound; and her grandchildren, Becky Jo (Gerrit), Jessica (Troy), Nicole (Kenny), Laurel (Terry), Erin (Brandon), Tyler (Sam), Jennifer (Craig), Jeff (Jenn), Jayson (Angela), Josh (Stephanie), Jaycob, Jordan and Ben.
Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
