He was predeceased by: his father Harvey Preiss. He is survived by: his parent Pat Preiss of Hanover; his siblings, Brenda Clubine (John) of Chepstow, Bev Ernst (Carl) of Hanover and Sharon Preiss; and his friend Rick of Kincardine.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Cancer Society or to the Kidney Foundation were appreciated by the family.
