He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine Kaufman and Caroline Kaufman (Weidendorf); his brother Ivan; and his great-nephew Owen MacPherson. He is survived by: his brother John "Jack" of Hanover; his wife Mary (Bartman); his child Tracy Mackey of Barrie; and his siblings, Ruth Wolfe of Hanover, Edwin and Florence Weltz (Raymond).
