It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Hastie (Hanover, Ontario), who passed away on November 30, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Joan Rydall, John "Jack" Ferguson, Gladys Helm and Nancy Talbot. She is survived by: her husband Keith Hastie; her children, Patricia Heard of Vancouver Island, BC and James Hastie (Ruth Moore) of Chatsworth; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Bradley, Davis and Steven; her great grandchildren, Ayla and Jamie; her siblings, Jessie Pitman, Ella White, Marshall "Mike", Edna Ferguson, Joyce Barham, Norman and Derlene Ferguson; and her niece Barbara (John Duffin).
A casual come and go celebration of Jean's life will be held at the Durham Legion, 271 Bruce Street North, Durham on Friday, December 6th from 1 - 4 p.m. Donations: As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Durham Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
