He was predeceased by: his parent William A.; his former wives, Nancy J. Skinner and Betty Skinner; and his siblings, William "Billy" Skinner, Eleanor Hollett and Margaret Ann Huffer.
He is survived by: his parent Bertha H. Skinner (Durham); his wife Stephanie; and his children, Terri Benton (Harold), Robert Skinner (Debra), Douglas Skinner, David Skinner and Christopher Skinner (Sue). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
