With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Brown (Hanover, Ontario), born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on January 29, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Bullen and Merle Bullen; her husband Clifford; and her siblings, Henry, Charles, Percy, Roy and Marion Tolton.

She is survived by: her children, Fred Brown (Carolyn) of Elora, Marie Hammell (Jim), Ruth Marissen (Bill) of Woodstock and Norine Emke (Dennis) of Hanover; her grandchildren, Chris (Brianne), Sarah (Adam), Lindsay (Matthew), Cheryl (Brent), Steven (Amanda), Scott (Stacey), Tim (Sasha), Janette (Nick), Wesley (Amanda), Jeremy (Alysia), Amy (Todd), Jennifer (Steve) and Michael (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Carter, Payton, Cohen, Griffen, Chase, Norah, Declan, Wyatt, Jordan, Cheyanne, Rachel, Ashley, Austin, Madison, Hailey, Ava, Chelsea, Hannah, Benjamin, Jacob, Lukas and Brooklyn; her siblings, Bill Bullen of Walkerton, Lillian Ditchfield of Chatham and Merle Smith of Stratford; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Bullen and Inez Noguchi. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews.

Memorial donations to the Hanover Care Centre - Resident's Council or to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
