Helen Ahrens Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2020, at the age of 91, Helen Ahrens (Hanover, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Monk and Nora Monk; her husband Gerald Ahrens; her son Frank Ahrens; her son-in-law John Wilken; and her siblings, Courtney Monk, Audree Riepert and Marjorie Carroll-Nelson.

She is survived by: her children, Jeannette Wilken, Elizabeth Timm (Ralph), Rose Ahrens and Scott Ahrens (Leila); her daughter-in-law Micheline Ahrens; her grandchildren, Jeannine Campbell (Pete), Monique Lippert (Mladin), Rob Lippert (Kate), Melissa Warner (Erich), Alison Braithwaite (Mark), Amanda Timm (Allan), Ashley Timm (Davor), Brandon Timm, Rebecca Timm (Cole) and Connor Ahrens; her great grandchildren, Nolan Campbell (Ailis), Emily Gerich (Phil), Vincent Dally, Everett Braithwaite, Ethan Warner, Megan Warner and Cooper Lippert; and her great great grandchildren, Saige, Morgan, Bryson Gerich, Ann and Bob Grimes. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, public visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 11 - 12 noon only.

Memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church - Elmwood or to the charity of your choice as expressions of sympathy.
