He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gordon Karn, Wilmer Karn, Alvin Karn, Dean Karn, Alvena Kuhl, Luella Kuhl, Viola Jackson, Doretta Phillips, Lorraine Hodder and Beatrice Hatten.
He is survived by: his wife Violet of Hanover; his children, Gerald Karn (Suzanne) of Owen Sound, Jim Karn (Jillian) of Vietnam, Doug Karn (Karen), Donald Karn (Jackie) and Joan Edwards (Graham Taylor) of Kitchener; his grandchildren, Michael (Krista), Steven (Lori), Stacey (Jeff), Shelley (Randy), Jason (Lisa), Jordan (Kathryn), Shawn (Mary Jane), Angela (Matt), Brock (Laurie) and Jana (David); and his brother Lawrence Karn. He is also survived by 3 sisters in law and several nieces, nephews.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Diabetes Association are appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
