He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Hopf and Loreeta Hopf; his siblings, Jean Harron, Betty Lane, Pat Schiestal, Caroline and Donald Hopf; and his goddaughter Diane Gutscher.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Hopf of Hanover; his daughters, Lisa Hopf (Shane Bernhardt) of Hanover and Lori Schmidt (Tim) of Hanover; his siblings, Alfreida Gutscher (Lloyd) of Walkerton, Ron Hopf (Myrtle) of St. Thomas, Wayne Day of Bluevale, Marlene Whitehead (Ron) of Hanover, Dorothy Fortune (Clark) of Chesley, Jake Hopf (Carol) of London and Shirley May (Roy) of Mount Forest; his godson Christopher Schaus; and his parents-in-law, Douglas Schaus (Donna) of Hanover, Bob Schaus (Diane) of Elmwood and Deb Roth (Mike) of Port Elgin.
Memorial donations to the Residential Hospice of Grey Bruce, Heart and Stroke or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
