He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys; his daughter Judy Thomson; his son-in-law Paul Snyder; and his sisters, Margaret Adams and Ina Doyle.
He is survived by: his children, Verdon Ellis (Catherine), Cheryl Snyder and Connie Capling (Stephen); his son-in-law Rick Thomson; his grandchildren, Leslie Geddes, Ryan Ellis, Ben Thomson, Andrea Goren, Kyle Arnold and Kaitlyn Arnold; his great grandchildren, Adrian Geddes, Nathan Geddes, Oliver Goren and Vivian Thomson; and his sibling Meryl Hincks.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
