He was predeceased by: his wife Dingena. He is survived by: his children, Anna Mary Weber (Ross) of Port Rowan, Roy (Debbie) of East Linton and George (Elizabeth) of Bognor; and his siblings, Ruurd and Anneke.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
