She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Brown and Ella Brown; her husband George 'Bud' Barley; and her siblings, Barbara Piper, Lorna Greene, Patricia O'Hara, Charles Brown and Roberta Portugaise.

She is survived by: her son Mark Barley (Monica) of Courtice; her grandchildren, Brock Akerman (Ashleigh Hancoop), Kyle Akerman (Natalie McPherson) and Lisa Barley (Ian Hunter); and her sister Sylvia Lefebvre of North Bay.
