He is survived by: his wife Diane McNichol-Byers of Hanover; his children, Teresa Lonsberry of Hanover, David McNichol (Pam) of Killaloe and Donald McNichol (Cathy) of Emsdale; his grandchildren, Samantha Lonsberry, Corrie Russwurm, Destiny Clark, Vincent Marquandt, Kathryn McNichol, Ayla McNichol, Hayden McNichol, Elliot McNichol and Riley Allen; his great grandchild Aubree Russwurm; and his siblings, Dave Byers of Owen Sound, Ross Byers of Owen Sound, Rick Byers (Muriel) of Owen Sound, Grant Byers of Owen Sound, Marilyn Playford (Wayne) of Owen Sound, Janet Johnson (Wayne) of Owen Sound and Cindy Cooper (Frank) of Owen Sound. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
Memorial donations to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation or the Day Away Program were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
