He was predeceased by: his wife Georgette Schneider (Kennedy); his parents, Oscar Schneider and Helen Schneider (Neisen); and his parents-in-law, John and Pauline Kennedy (Schwass).
He is survived by: his children, Allan Schneider of Mildmay and Cindy Schneider (Luke); his sister Darlene Wells (Rick); and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Kennedy-Kieffer (Jeff) of Walkerton, Paula Kennedy of Hanover, Maggie Kennedy of Goderich, Joanne Wiess (Stephen) of Cumberland Beach and Pat Kennedy. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
