Betty Strong Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Strong in Hanover, Ontario, born in London, London, who passed away on October 2, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smedley and Elizabeth Smedley (Burgess); her brother Lawrence "Larry"; and her husband Jim. She is survived by: her children, Ann Maracle of Waterloo, Jean Nicholson (Paul) of Owen Sound, Jim Strong (Merle) of Waterloo and John Strong (Kathy) of St. Clements; and her grandchildren, Robert, Kelly, Niesha, Scott (Jenny), Angela, Cindy (Mike) and Pamela. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations to the Humane Society of Canada would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
