He was predeceased by: his parents, George Baker and Eleanor Baker; and his wife Melanie. He is survived by: his daughters, Angela Baker-MacLeod (Alex) of Ottawa and Linda Murray (Jim) of Chesley; his siblings, Patricia Batchelor of Southampton and England; his niece Karen Metcalfe (Mick); his nephew Clive Batchelor (Rachel); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Samuel of Birmingham, Grace of Birmingham, Harry of Birmingham and England; his sister-in-law Pamela Hildyard; his nephews, Lance and Mark Hildyard; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Evie Rose and Beren; his sister-in-law Priscilla Waterman; his niece Lee Reeves; his great-niece Brittany of Johannesburg; and his great-nephew Michael of Johannesburg.

Memorial donations to the Chapman House would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
