He was predeceased by: his children, Helen (late Leo), Monique (Guy), Suzanne, Richard (Joanne) and Luc; his grandchild Lee-Anne; and his parents, Louis Giroux and Josephine Giroux.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his grandchildren, Lynne, Diane, Laurier (Joanne), Guy, Paul, Lise, Julie, Angela, Natalie, Shane, Patrick, Joey, Marc, Eric, Danielle, Pascale, Joyce and Renée; and his sisters, Reina Labelle and Dora Favaro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
