He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lise Freeland (DesForges); his children, Damien Freeland (Geneviève) and Adrien Freeland (Patricia); his grandchildren, Olivier, Élodie, Ariel, Félix, Xavier and Léa; his parents, Elmer Freeland and Rita (Chaput); his sisters, Deborah and Cheryl (Dave Yensen); and his siblings-in-law, Norm DesForges (Pierrette), Ron DesForges (Barb), Jeannette Labelle (Chuck), Denis DesForges (Colette) and Michelle Ockenden (James). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
