He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert and Suzanne; his brother Mario; his grandparents, Xavier Brillant, Simone Brillant, Amédé Wafer, Jeanne Langlois (Delarosbil) and Norbert Langlois; his sons, Shawn and Niko; his grandsons, Landon and Carter; his nieces, Zoë, Mikaëla and Zara; and his nephew Xavier Marco Martin Brillant. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
