Cyril Galbraith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cyril Galbraith (Hampton, Ontario), born in Hamilton, Ontario, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends.

Cyril is survived by his children George and Julia. Lost earlier were his cherished wife Edie and adored son Michael. He leaves 4 grandchildren: Clara, Oliver, Bronwyn and Anna and 2 precious great grandchildren, Asher and Reina.

Cyril was a wonderful, loving husband, father, Grampy, and Great Grampy. He delighted in his grandchildren and great grand children and tried to be there for as many of their important milestones as possible. He imparted important values to his children, supported them in all their endeavors, and made sure they would have the opportunities and education he was unable to obtain.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on October 16, 2022 at 12:30pm. Interment will take place following the service at Saint Joseph's cemetery as well as a reception service at the bishop's residence.
