He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Eileen (Rea); his parents, August Heinbecker and Winnifred Heinbecker; and his brother Vic.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home (36 Lake Ave Dr, Stoney Creek, ON L8G3N3). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens (700 Chapel Hill Rd, Stoney Creek, ON L8J0B5).
