He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldon Allan and Carol Allan; his sister Judy; his brother-in-law Brian; his brother Nigel Russell; and his nephew Garrett Russell.

He is survived by: his significant other Sheila Russell; his stepchild Geoffrey Walton; his sibling Pat McDonell; his sister-in-law Lesley Russell; his brother Eugene Ladniak; his niece Kate Lambacher (Chris); his nephew Chris Ladniak (Tara); his children, Amara Lambacher, Ben Lambacher, Connor, Avery and Jacob Ladniak; his nephew Duncan Russell; and also, Doug McDonell, Thomas McDonell, Linda Clemo, Gareth Clemo, Eamon Kelly and Hugh Kelly.
