He is survived by: his wife Thekla; his daughters, Elaine Silvano (Franco) and Katherine Benton (Miles); his grandchildren, Julia, Emily, Victoria, Alessandra and Jessica; his brother Howard; his parents, Frank Soar and Beatrice Soar; and his siblings, Margaret Savelli, Joyce Vaughan and Gordon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and close friends.
