Stephanie Baran Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephanie Baran (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Stephanie Baran to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Lazar and Anna Lazar; her parents-in-law, Ivan and Anna Baran; and her child Myroslav.
She is survived by: her child Ivanna; her siblings, Teresa, Marijka and Myron; her children, Yaroslav, Tara Baran, Ivanka, Ben Purkiss and Larysa Baran; her grandchildren, Zoia, Ariana, Sophia, Eliseya, Emilia and Julia; her sisters-in-law, Halya, Slavka, Sonia, Stefka and Ira; her aunt Olenka; and her cousins, Orysia and Halya.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church (15 St Olga St, Hamilton, ON L8L6R3). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the St. Volodymyr Ukrainian Cemetery St Volodymyr's Cemetery (1280 Dundas St W, Oakville, ON L6M4H9).
