Slavica (Katovicic) Djumlin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Slavica (Katovicic) Djumlin (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on February 3, 2025 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Slavica (Katovicic) Djumlin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stjepan "Steve" Djumlin; her daughters, Dianne (Steve Kisic) and Darlene (Chris Martin); her great grandchildren, Lily, Calvin and Baby Stevie; her sibling Tomo Katovćić (Slavica); her nieces and nephews, Irena (Steve) and Carmen (Ricky); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Mya, Josh, Brody and Nathan; her sibling Stjepan Katovćić (Slavica); her nephew Robert (Zeljka); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sara and Nika; and also Frank Djumlin.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Bozica; her nieces, Barbara (Peter) and Anne (Steve); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Laura (Nik), Eric (Portia), Ryan, Julianna and Michael; and her great grandchildren, Novak, Luka and Summer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home (146 Mill St N, Waterdown, ON L0R2H0). A vigil service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Roman Catholic Church (715 Centre Rd, Hamilton, ON L8N2Z7). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (580 Old York Rd, Burlington, ON L7P4Y5).
If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation or the Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
