He was predeceased by: his parents, John MacLeod and Emma MacLeod; his brothers, Bill and Ernie MacLeod; his siblings-in-law, Glen Mitchell, Dale and Kim Mitchell; his godson Christopher Mitchell; and also, Stan and Evelyn Mitchell.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah MacLeod; his children, Bev MacLeod (Janet) of Hanover and Amanda MacLeod-Smith (Richard) of Hamilton; his grandchildren, Christopher (Danielle), Tori (Linus), Tristan and Skyler; his brothers, Jack of Hanover, Allan (Mary Bernice) of Williamsford and Jim (Sharon) of Durham; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth MacLeod of Jarvis, Glenda Graham of Holland Centre and Sharon Batterman (Norm) of Hanover. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
