With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ron Volterman (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ron has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Anna Marie Longboat, Jackie Rooney, Teresa Volterman and Mark Volterman; and his parents, Fred and Loretto.
He is survived by: his child Kim Thomas (Jason). He is also survived by his extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Homes (796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V4K4). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Luke's Catholic Parish (200 Mt Albion Rd, Hamilton, ON L8K5S9).
